Work Location: Pune
Job Title: Senior Database Administrator
What you will bring –
- 6 to 10 years of experience in SQL Server Database Administration.
- Should have worked extensively on production systems.
- Should have real time experience on installing, configuring and managing databases in production, test and development environments. (2005 / 2008).
- Monitoring (SQL Performance profiler, Performance dashboard, Perfmon, Spotlight, etc.).
- Performance tuning existing code with developers.
- Index tuning, Database fragmentation & compression.
- Apply upgrades, patches & Hot fixes.
- Database Mirroring (Build, Roll, maintenance & troubleshooting).
- Replication (Transactional & Peer to Peer), Clustering, Backups & Restores. – SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), DTS.
- Operational Experience on incident and project case. – Extensive experience in writing SQL queries.
- Tuning performance issues with SQL queries.
What you will do –
- You will own the entire database operations for Adjility.
- Manage all database related activities as an individual contributor.
- Manage servers in the USA, remotely from India.
- Interact with various stake holders at all levels within the organization.
- Report to the Director (in India) and the VP (in the USA).
